1. Purpose of application
This privacy and information sharing policy (“Policy”) is intended to ensure the safety of information related to organizations and individuals participating in accessing and/or transacting on the website: https://tdacademy.edu.vn/ (hereinafter referred to as “Website”) is owned by Talents Development Academy (TDA).
This Policy describes how TDA receives, aggregates, stores, uses, and protects the information of organizations and individuals participating in accessing and transacting on the Website (“Customers”). The Customer’s access to or transactions on the Website means that the Customer has read, understood, and agreed to comply with this Policy, including the revised and supplemented versions. The modified and supplemented version of this Policy (if any) will take effect as soon as it is officially updated on the Website and without need for prior notice.
2. Specific policy
About information collection
When the Customer makes a transaction and/or registers to open an account at the Website, occasionally, the Customer must provide some necessary information for transaction execution and/or account registration (“Customer Information”).
The Customer is responsible for ensuring the information provided by the Customer is complete, accurate and always updates the information to ensure information is complete and accurate. TDA is not responsible for resolving any dispute if the information provided by the Customer is incorrect, not up to date, or forged.
Data storing and personal data security
Customer Information and information exchanged between the Customer and TDA are kept and secured by TDA’s system. This includes, the customer’s payment card information, which will be protected by TDA’s Payment Gateway partners.
TDA has appropriate technical and security measures to prevent unauthorized access and use of Customer Information. Additionally, TDA frequently cooperates with security experts to update the latest information on network security to ensure the safety of Customer Information when Customers access, register to open an account, or use the Website features. When collecting data, TDA keeps and secures Customer Information in the server system. This Customer Information is secured by firewall systems, and other control measures.
The Customer’s payment card information is protected by TDA’s Payment Gateway partners according to international standards. TDA does not allow third-parties to track or collect Customers’ information on the TDA website.
For closed accounts, TDA will continue to store Customer’s personal information and access for the purposes of fraud prevention, investigation, and addressing queries.
The customer must not engage in any activities that unlawfully interfere with the system or affect the data structure of TDA, as well as any other acts that propagate or encourage interference, sabotage or infiltrate the data on the TDA system, including any act that is prohibited by Vietnamese law. TDA reserves the right to send the Customer’s personal information to the appropriate authorities for processing if TDA discovers that the Customer has purposefully fabricated, deceived, or transferred illegal information, etc.
The use of Customer Information
TDA reserves the right to use the information submitted by the Customer, including but not limited to Customer Information, for the following:
- Provide services/utilities to Customers based on their needs and habits when accessing the Website
- Detecting and preventing fraudulent activity, account disruption, and acts impersonating the Customer on the Website
- Contact, support, and resolve cases with Customers
Linking to other websites
Customers are responsible for preserving their account information and should not disclose any account or login information to other websites except when checking in to the TDA’s official address at https://tdacademy.edu.vn/.
TDA is not responsible for any problems that arise as a result of Customers accessing websites that do not belong to TDA.
Sharing Customer Information
TDA does not provide Customer Information to any third-parties except when it is required to do so at the request of authorities, or as required by law, or when the provision of such information is necessary for TDA to provide services/utilities to the Customer (for example, providing necessary forwarding information to shipping partners).
In addition to the above cases, TDA will give specific notice to the Customer when it is required to disclose Customer Information to a third party. In such instances, TDA agrees to only disclose Customer Information when Customer’s consent is given.
TDA provides cookies or similar technologies, to collect information such as access history, Customer preferences when accessing and using the Website’s features. This is used to enhance the experience, and to help TDA understand the needs and preferences of the Customer to be able to provide better services in the future.
